Celebrating International Women’s Day with the US Ambassador

We celebrated International Women’s Day 2024 with the US Ambassador at her official residence in Regents Park.

US Ambassador, Jane Hartley was a supremely elegant host. It was a delight to meet her, have my Pop coat dress admired, and chat with other guest while drinking champagne and eating cute mini tacos.

My dear friend, Benafsha Yaqoobi (pictured beside me) was a main guest who the event was centered around. A former human rights official for women and disability rights in Afghanistan before the Taliban returned, she shared her experiences with all of us. Benafsha is now an activist and academic based in London.

Winfield House is easily the most glamorous and perfect residence in London, what a treat!
