Black-owned businesses in London that we love

Pop London loves: We are going to introduce you to businesses we love that are founded and owned by Black women in London so that you can spread the love and your cash to help them grow! We hope you will add links to more businesses in the comments.

Monero Kids Boutique

Monero Kids Boutique, founded by Sandra, used to have a boutique at Blue House Yard opposite our boutique but Sandra decided to focus on her gorgeous boutique in East London and online. I wish Monero Kids Boutique was around when I was a kid, I would have loved these super cool dolls!

Retrosistaz vintage collections

The fabulous Retrosistaz, founded by Janice, also used to be Pop London’s neighbour at Blue House Yard! The coolest affordable vintage fashion and records is here. You can find Retrosistaz on Instagram and at vintage fairs around London.

Eliza’s Kitchen Caribbean Restaurant

We are spoilt for internaional cuisine in North London. Eliza’s Kitchen, a Caribbean cafe restaurant, opened in Wood Green Mall earlier this year and we totally recommend it. I also love their vegan or rum infused cakes…yum!

DILI Management

I met Tanya-Cyrena Cyrus, an international athlete, on a business course. Her organisation, Dream It, Live It is a sports management and marketing company working with international names in the world of sport to help talented athletes achieve their athletic potential.

These businesses might not be immediately relevant to your situation, however, now that you know about them you can spread the word to friends and family.

The Moringa Family Group

We love other sibling founders like Rona and Leroy! The Moringa Family Group are pioneering innovators in the amazing properties of superfood moringa. With their own farm in Grenada they can control the quality of the ingredients in their growing product range. I can say from experience that their tea infusions are delicious. Next on my list to try..their moringa body products! You can buy online or find them at Walthamstow Market.
