It's back: Wimbledon 2021 and terrible British Summer weather

Ah the glee…the highly coveted tennis championship, Wimbledon is back! Hip hip hooray, except so are the rain clouds. Summer officially started last week so why on Earth has it been raining almost every day and why has it only been warm enough for ice cream once?

We were lucky enough to have our names pulled for the Wimbledon ballot last year but the pandemic struck and 2020, as you know, was broadly cancelled. Subsequently we managed to bag tickets for this year and are really looking forward to it.

Andy Murray won his first match yeaterday and we are hoping to catch a glimpse of Serena Williams, swoon! With some games delayed due to the weather we hope we don’t end up with soggy clothes to pair our strawberries and cream with…
